7/28 Event: The Insider's Guide to Winning With Bundled Payments



PeerWell is hosting an event on Thursday, July 28 that will feature the previous head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and experts on contracting and bundle design.

This session's agenda is: 

  • 6:30-7:00: A breakdown of how the bundle works & opportunities for care path improvement
  • 7:00-8:45: A panel discussion on bundle implications and how to contract to capture value 
  • 8:45-9:45: Drinks & appetizers 

Speakers include: 

  • Charlene Frizzera is a healthcare thought leader with exceptional operational knowledge surrounding the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Ms. Frizzera was acting administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services where she was responsible for leading the policy and operational aspects of CMS while executing the design and implementation plan for the recently implemented Affordable Care Act. Ms. Frizzera’s CMS career includes positions as chief operating officer, deputy chief operating officer, deputy director for the center of medicaid & state operations. 
  • Navin Gupta serves as co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of PeerWell. Prior to PeerWell, Mr. Gupta was in general management in healthcare at Danaher, Guthy|Renker, and Procter & Gamble. He spearheaded the creation of PeerWell PreHab which is leading to better care and bundle savings across in the United States and Europe.  
  • Jeremy Brown is the Managing Partner of CF Health Advisors, a healthcare policy focused strategic advisory firm. He heads the firm’s research efforts with a focus on Medicaid and Medicare innovations, and health care payment and delivery system reforms. 
  • Jennifer Cormano is an attorney representing hospitals, physician groups, academic medical centers, surgery centers, and accountable care organizations. She is an expert in contracting and gainsharing agreement design.
