Physician Volunteer Telehealth Opportunities With The MAVEN Project

The MAVEN Project needs your expertise.

Jill Einsten, MD

Jill Einstein, MD, Director of Physician Engagement for The MAVEN Project (Medical Alumni Volunteer Expert Network) which was founded by Laurie Green, MD, a San Francisco obstetrician-gynecologist and former board president of the Harvard Medical Alumni Association. The MAVEN Project connects physician volunteers with U.S. medical clinics caring for under served patient populations by supporting their primary care providers via telehealth technology (video conference, email and phone). Our physician volunteers provide advisory consultations (peer to peer advice on de-identified clinical cases or population health), educational sessions and mentoring.

Jill Einstein, MD, is looking to engage recently retired, semi-retired and active physicians with these volunteer opportunities, which are meaningful, convenient and flexible.

  • Adult and pediatric specialists, as well as primary care physicians, are sought
  • Active or volunteer medical licenses are accepted
  • Physician volunteers may be located anywhere in the U.S.
  • Minimum volunteer hours is 4 hours per month
  • Malpractice insurance for MAVEN Project-related activities is provided
