Join the San Francisco Marin Medical Society in welcoming the Hiroshima Prefectural Medical Association for their visit to San Francisco

Since 1977, Hiroshima Prefectural Medical Association (HMA) has conducted health checkups for atomic bomb survivors in North America here in San Francisco.

As the sister society to HMA since 1981, SFMMS has regularly provided the local affiliation necessary for the team of HMA physicians to conduct these biennial medical examinations.

This year, the Hiroshima International Council for Health Care of the Radiation-Exposed (HICARE) is hosting a seminar at St. Mary's Medical Center to educate medical personnel about treating atomic bomb survivors throughout the world.

Sunday, July 16
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
St. Mary's Medical Center
Morrissey Hall
2250 Hayes St, San Francisco

RSVP is required. Please contact Posi Lyon at plyon@sfmms.org or at (415) 561-0850 ext. 260.
