Event: Oakland High School Career Day December 23, 2019 Events 0 Oakland High School will be hosting a Career Day for their 9th graders on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020. This a great opportunity to share your career path with their students. All professions are welcome but they are in need of more art, media, and/or healthcare professionals. Volunteers are needed for the following class periods: 8:30-9:45 10:00-11:15 12:15-1:30 2:00-3:15 Below is a sample agenda of what to expect if you participate: 8:30-8:35 Welcome & Review of Agenda 8:35-8:45 Brief Introduction: Each guest gives a 1-2 minute intro in front of the whole class 8:45-9:35 Small Group Discussions (groups rotate every 10 min.): Professionals share more about your career path and answer questions with 5-10 students. 9:35-9:40 Closing: Professionals give parting thoughts and/or advice 9:40-9:45 Appreciations: Students give thanks and reflect on the experience Please complete the registration form if you would like to volunteer at the following link: Oakland High School Career Day Registration Form Comments are closed.
