Renew 20th Anniversary Celebration Conference

This conference celebrates the 20th anniversary of RENEW, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1998 by
Linda Hawes Clever, MD and colleagues. Dr. Clever’s book, The Fatigue Prescription, Four Steps to Renewing
Your Energy, Health and Life, offers a framework of “Awareness, Reflection, Conversation, Plan and Act” to
guide accomplished, devoted people toward meaning and joy in their professional and personal commitments.
Renewing centers on values, attitudes, relationships, good health and setting priorities to help people establish
basic, sustainable practices. Participants in RENEW programs have reported positive results in the areas
of improved teamwork, restored vitality and confidence, positive outlooks, leadership, and resilience. At this
conference, participants from several walks of life will build community via interactive panels, presentations,
Conversation Groups© and music. We will hear about pacesetting thinking and actions as we explore and learn
principles that will lift spirits, improve effectiveness, and promote excellence in personal and professional lives.

• Examine and explore professional and personal values that pertain to patients, clients, and life.
• Identify barriers and boosters that influence our ability to move forward with personal and professional
fulfillment and sustainability.
• Share insights, knowledge, and skills that contribute to first-rate personal and professional practices.
• Develop strategies to translate renewing practices into individual lives as well as advancing the health and
vitality of families, organizations, and communities.
